Outstanding experience. I recently underwent an elective tooth extraction due to a large periapical abscess. Dr. Christopher van Kesteren performed the procedure with remarkable skill—almost painless. My postoperative course was smooth and uncomplicated, aside from needing to have a collagen membrane removed one day earlier than planned. His office accommodated me immediately with a same‑day visit, and the issue was addressed within minutes. I also asked about a cosmetic temporary appliance to cover the post‑extraction space. I assumed I would need a separate appointment for impressions or measurements. Instead, Dr. van Kesteren offered to modify my existing upper Essix retainer on the spot. I left the office that same afternoon with a comfortable, natural‑looking, gap‑free smile. Dr. van Kesteren and his entire team have my full and enthusiastic endorsement.

I would recommend this practice to anyone. I had gum graft surgery and they were so helpful and professional and kind! Dr. Rasenberger and Hannah provided wonderful care. I was very nervous but they made me feel as comfortable as possible. They gave me detailed information before, during and after the procedure. I appreciated the texts beforehand that reminded me of important details. The entire staff was great to work with.

We had an outstanding experience at North State Periodontics and Implantology. My daughter recently had a dental procedure performed by Dr. Kenneth P. Rasenberg, and from the moment we walked in until we left, every member of the team was exceptional. The front desk staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. The dental assistant who brought my daughter back was absolutely wonderful. She was kind, patient, and took the time to answer every question we had without ever making us feel rushed. Her calm and caring demeanor helped put both our daughter and us at ease. After the procedure, Dr. Rasenberg thoroughly explained how everything went, reviewed the aftercare instructions, and made sure we understood what to expect during recovery. We truly appreciated how much time he took to ensure all of our questions were answered. What impressed us the most was that Dr. Rasenberg personally called us after business hours to check on her and see how she was doing. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Rasenberger and the staff at North State Perio. I had a tooth extracted and the car given was nothing short of spectacular. Dr. Rasenberger's bedside was great. He explained everything and was gentle when numbing my mouth for the procedure. I'm more than pleased and highly recommend this group of providers.

I’m used to going into Dr.’s offices of any kind and feeling dismissed, but my experience at North State Perio with Dr. Van Kesteren was the complete opposite experience. Even though I didn’t leave with a “diagnosis”, Dr. Chris gave me the space to explain what I’ve been experiencing, and took the time to thoroughly explore different causes. I left feeling thankful and very hopeful with some new direction. Everyone at the front desk was so kind also!

Dr. Rasenberger and his entire team are so wonderful. The front desk is always so smiley and inviting and every appointment I was brought in right on time which I really appreciated. I was nervous for my implants but in every part of the process they were so warm, patient, and kind that I always felt comfortable knowing how well cared for the patients are here. Both he and Kai explained the process in a digestible way so I could understand exactly what was happening and I am so grateful for their whole team throughout this experience. North State Perio has a warm and welcoming environment. All the receptionists/admins are pleasant and professional. Today, I received my regular scheduled cleaning with a new hygienist, Jessica (new to me). Wow! She was very thorough. She took her time to clean my teeth and walked me through the process as I’m a little apprehensive when it comes to dentist. Jessica also gave tips and suggestions to continue a successful oral health journey. Dr. Getz kindly followed up with his knowledge and guidance. If you’re in need of periodontal and/or specialized oral treatment, I highly recommend North State Perio with Dr. Getz (and Jessica)!
